happy birthday, Alex Kingston - as I’m sure was the case with many other people, I became a fan from the moment I first saw her as Dr. River Song on “Doctor Who.” I was also glad to see her in a 4-episode role as lawyer Miranda Pond on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” as well as a good part on the final season of “Upstairs Downstairs” as Dr. Blanche Mottershead. Her hair is absolutely and completely delightful. Happy 50th, Alex!
